2 dogs ate 5 pounds of calf manna

Is this a problem??
It sounds like potent stuff! I left a large ziplocked bag packed full of it on the table, then it disapeared... now they're having red diarrea-manna. Not blood, just semi-digested pellets.

Should I be worried here, feed them anything aside from lots of water??
Thanks.

Also the dogs are 50 pounds and 80 pounds, the larger one has been lazier than normal for hours.... I just noticed the empty bag.

Thanks for that. Yeah they are fine, well only the one still has the runs. She's always slower to get over these things.

Aren't dog really smart sometimes, I bet they would eat another bag not matter how sick it made them the first time. I bet they will be fine.

I had a temporary dog that ate a 1 lb bag of chocolate covered espresso beans and lived.. so I am doubting something nutritious like calk manna would kill them...

Mine got into the mare and foal feed and ate a bunch. Not as high in protein i don't think as the calf manna, but with the oats in there it looked like they were pooping pine cones for a day or two.Maybe the sore rear will make them think again.

not a bit suprised have to keep the manna secure here or the dogs will eat it dog food would be safer from being pillaged when your back is turned than mannna its really good stuff suprised that small amout even gave them the runns must have a more delicate system than my dogs do .My grand mother had trouble with the neighbors dogs eating the chicken feed not the chickens just all the feed and believe me you would be suprised just how much food will fit in some dogs

Pretty hard to kill a dog. They'll eat any manner of corruption that would kill a person and come out kicking. Sorta like an old tomcat.

My old lab ate chocolate, socks, dead stuff, bones, wood, plastic and metal and lived to a ripe old age.

My dog got a whole bag of the foil covered Kissys, and ate the wraper and all. It looked like Christmas balls twinkling out on the snow. Silver, green and red. She would do it again given a chance.

Once our old dog Max ate half of a Toblerone behind my back, box foil and all. He didn't seem to suffer any ill effects, but then he was quite a hefty dog (130+ lb).

I'm sure the dogs will turn out fine.
