Predator Questions

I'm not sure this is where this belongs and it may seem like a stupid question but here goes. I'm new at this (as in still in the info gathering and planing phase) but what do you do with the remains of predator killed stock. Is it safe/good to eat if they have left parts. If not safe for human consumption can you feed it to other animals. should it just be incinerated (i hate this option it just seems so wasteful).

Anyway i get the impression that eventually when i do get animals it will not be a matter of if i get predation but when i will get it.

I would not eat it unless I saw it killed as it may have laid for some time. I can also tell you that livestock meat from a predator kill would be pumped full of lactic acid and adrenalin. I would however feed to other animals with no problem. I would also use parts of it to trap the predator that killed it if that predator was not shot at the time. Use hides as you normally do .

I wouldn't eat nor feed it to other animals. If the predator that killed the animal had some kind of disease, i.e. rabies or some other disease, you or your other animals could be exposed. Not worth it.

He meant use parts to trap a predator other than a Raptor . LOL You will get into trouble. Right Mr. Wild

Yea the best use is bait either for that predator or others in fur season, helps your livestock and makes a nice income bonus.
