I Sure Do Like My MaggieDans Milker

I have the homemade (exact Replica) version of the Maggiedan's Milker and it comes in so handy when I have to milk out a ewes colostrum. It makes it effortless to get the milk cleanly and into a bottle so it can be fed to a baby or frozen for future use. Truly a good product.

Started trying to make my own for the sheep. used a denovex applicator as someone suggested on here. Seems wonderful except have to find teat sized syring to finish it. I have too big or too small. Ho hum.

What home made are you using?

have to check - I think mine is an exact copy of theirs. Made from locally available parts at the feed store.

I just copied that page to my favorites ... I'm wanting to make one myself. When I worked for Walco I got several of those syringes free from salesmen and gave most of them away to the sheep-farming friend as I never use them but I did keep one. If I can find it I will be halfway there!
