a combine will shuck it, and remove the kernels from the cob, but you need a seperate machine to grind, or crack it.

I have a machine that will do the first step.
Pick and shuck.Don't know what it's called but I got one.I have heard it called a side by side combine however I'm not sure that's the proper name.

Now I need something to get it off the cob and grind it.

Is there something out there that will do that.(grind off the cob)

I think its probably called a picker. I mean your machine that picks, and shucks.

Getting the corn off the cob is called shelling.
I know there are old hand powered shellers, but I get the feeling you want a machine.I dont know of any machine that shells corn, AND grinds it. Actually, I dont know of any stand alone powered sheller.

Small electric roller mills are available at auctions, and used farm equipment dealers. A roller mill wont make flour, but it will crack a kernel into 6 pices or so.Its plenty fine for animal feed.

AN all in one machine just doesnt exist as far as I know. A combine will pick it, shuck it, and shell it, but you will still need a grinder, or a roller mill

You need an old hammer mill

We sold one at auction for 10 bucks.. You will need a tractor with a flat belt or some sort of engine to run it.
My grandma used to take ear corn and chop it with a machete and toss to the cattle..They will eat the cob.

We never shelled corn for cattle feed. Just threw it cob and all into a "burr grinder". The cob mixed and the cows ate it just fine, kind of like Hamburger helper.
