Does anyone respond to or check their private messages
I was just curious because I have sent several and never gotten a response. I just wonder if they are even being recieved.  This also seems to be the case with my emails. I send them out but get very little back. You know what maybe it's just me. In fact if I were you and you were me I'm not sure if I would want to talk to you. Hmm?  My wife would say that if I wasn't such an a-hole then this would'nt be an issue at all.

I corraspond with folks on P M's every now and then and Get replies! I have seen my P M box full A time or so. So it might just be some folks! I know I need to cut mine down as I Am hitting the road tommorow,I hope!! and will be gone fore A bit!

Hey, I believe you and me are in the same boat. Somebody told me once that it's not what you say but how you say it. The problem is I've only got one way. I'm still getting used to this computer thing. I guess I've had it for about 2 months now. For all I know may'be it's against some kind of computer etiquette < I think that's how you spell it. Well I'm pretty stuborn and I'm goin to keep sendin em wether they answer them or not.

most of the time I do, sometimes I read them, plan on responding to them... and then forget about them.

Now Bill, you know that's not true. We've had some very nice conversations via PM. I just haven't had anything to write ABOUT lately, lol.
Strawhouse, part of the problem may be that you are so new, people are leery of newcomers until they get familiar with you. Another thing...are you putting a subject line on your PMs? I know most people won't even look at one without some idea of what it's regarding. Also, maybe the people you've written to don't get a lot of PMs. I know I don't, and a lot of times I forget to even check to see if I have any.
Don't give up, you'll get responses sooner or later, lol.

I always reply to both pm and email. My email I will not open if I don't know who it is from. So if anyone emails me id yourself as a ht member. Sam

Sometimes people check in here to read the posts, but don't log in. In that case, they can't see PM's, so that may be the problem.

I figure it may be because you are a newer user. Because I'm sure I'm just as much a A'hole as anyone else maybe more so and I get responses.

I always check mine, and have always responded except for in a couple of rare instances. If a pm seems like someone wanting to get confrontational or asks something overly personal (that is to say "creepy"), I don't respond. However, I must say, in all these years, and hundreds of pm's, there have only been two or three that were like that. Maybe you pm'ed some of the more active members who get lots and lots of messages?
