Safe or not

I have been giving my husband his B-12 shots for over a year. Well the last few,the needle won't stay on the syrenge. Found out why last nite. These screw on to the syrenge. They should have sent instructions. The others didn,t because I tried and it didn,t work. Those just popped in. I just found out I AM a dummy.

Seems like your Dr. should have given you instructions on how to use the syringe.

In the mean time I am wondering what I did to myself in the name of vanity. Yesterday I dyed my gray locks blond again. Today my head still stinks like dye (yes, I did wash my hair WELL after the dye job) and all I can taste is the dye. I am wondering what chemicals I absorbed through my skin!

Go to the doctor and get one of the nurses to show you how correctly. You might also try a pharmacist if that's more convenient.

Don't feel bad - they changed our needles to a different brand at the hospital I work at and we had the same problem; you'd think someone would have mentioned that the new needles had to be checked! We use a needle with a safety cover and would just pop open the package and screw the cover to the syringe. Now we have to flip back the cover and make sure that the needle is securely screwed down to the cover, or it will pull out or leak when you are giving an injection.

DD, I must admit your thread title got me.....As I initially thought you were reusing syringes to the point that the needle seat was worn out LOL....All I could think of was "darn...I've heard of frugal but that takes the cake"...Thanks for the smile this morning.
