Grain Mill Recommendations

I am interested in grinding my own rice, beans, seeds, etc. I am leaning toward the K-TEC Kitchen Mill, because it is made in America. I hate to spend so much money, but if it works well and lasts, I'd rather spend it now than have to buy a replacement model later. I learned this lesson the hard way when I bought a $100 meat grinder that only lasted 2 years and we can't get parts to repair it.

Any insight or advice on grain mills is greatly appreciated.

I don't have a mill yet, but while dreaming about the Bosch Universal Plus mixer that I want so bad I came across this site Pleasant Hill Grain They have a lot of info on different types of Mills along with their personal recommendations. It's a really good site with a lot of info. Hope it helps.

This is a question that comes up again and again. A search of previous threads will reveal a lot of information.
