Anyone in or near Ashland KY?
I have a friend whose husband is considering work in the oil field. Cost of living? Cost of Housing? Other factors?

We are about 60 miles east but I'd say it shouldn't be too bad. Huntington, WV is close by and has reasonable amenities. We moved from Nashville, TN to WV 2 years ago and found that the cost of living was good but the economy in the region is not great...it is Appalachia afterall...but I love it here!
