Be careful with those snowblowers

I live in a region where we clear snow with brooms. But I read a story recently that said that more than 5,300 people injure themsleves while using snowblowers badly enough to have to go to emergency rooms.

Part of the problem is that the blades still retain torque even when the motor is turned off. When an operator uses a hand or even a stick, the power stored in the blades springs and cuts fingers off and breaks bone.

So, be careful, or just send some of that snow down here.
