If you was closer, I'd buy it from you. I need something to cruise around the farm on.

I've known a few guys who bought them to build into off-road buggies. I'd advertise it. You may get a few bucks for it.

I've got an ATV (two actually) but I'm looking to buy an electric golf cart to turn into an off-road buggy. If it ends up costing too much though I'll end up buying one made for that sort of thing.

We used a fleet of them at the plant nursery- attached a shelf on the front and loaded it up with flats of herbs- best part of the job was tooling around on the carts.

You have a useful commodity on your hands.

if the battery is still in tact, it may be ok and may just need to be "cooked". visit the alternative energy forum and look in the archived links for information on batteries and battery maintenence. someone may be able to use the battery for and off-grid power system or something.

There's a herd of people in my town of 200 who have golf carts and one guy has a cemetery/stockpile of them. Town is 6x8 blocks and they (about six or more couples plus families) run all over town on these things and socialize.

I'm presuming they are cheaper to run than a normal vehicle ...

I used to be an EZ-Go mechanic. We'd buy them from courses by the truckload, reuild and repaint them, then resell them.

We had a couple we stripped down to the frame and raced. Those things will lay rubber! Very quick.

Yeah the old folks in the small town I live near are all into driving golf carts now. Now the country folks use to use ATVs to do the same thing but now they're switching over to the new Side-By-Side utility vehicles like Yamaha Rhino's, Polaris Rangers, Kawasaki Mules, John Deere Gators etc. They kinda make the circuit around the countryside visiting neighbors and driving around enjoying the weather and scenery. About dinner time they all descend on a cafe or restaurant somewhere. You'll see a lot full of their side-by-sides and golf carts. A good bet the special is pretty yummy that day.

It's pretty comical to see a gang of them tearing down a gravel road. Sort of like a clean cut geriatric gang of hells angels in souped up golf carts.
