heating lavendar pack with no microwave

a friend bought me one of those stuffed things with lavendar (or something) in it that you heat in the microwave and put on your eyes to relax. I don't have a microwave. So I was wondering if this might work... Can I wrap it in foil and put it on the wood stove? Has anyone else tried this. If so, how long on the woodstove would equal 15 seconds from the microwave?

It would depend on the amount of heat your wood stove has. Mine is pretty hot, & I'd worry about scorching the fabric. Hang it above the stove, or put a couple of bricks on it & set it on top. Good idea about the foil. That would keep it clean & hold the heat in.

we took the ceramic top off the woodstove to increase the surface area. Big soup pots of water get to boiling (that's 212 right)? so pretty hot. Nice to always have boiling hot water handy! i like the brick idea, i have tons laying around. how long would you think?
