Looking for a specific recipe

My dad asked me this morning if I could try to find a certain recipe. He said that it was something like lemon crisp, or lemon something and it was from a Betty Crocker cookbook from the 1950's. He said that his mother used to make them when he was little (in the 50's) and that they were more like wafers than cookies. Really thin, with brown edges. If anyone here knows the recipe that he is thinkin of or can try to find it, I would be eternally in your debt!

Thank you!
Emily

You might want to post your request on the "cooking" forum, if you haven' already.

My wife has a reprint of the Betty Crocker 1950 cookbook. It has two different recipes for lemon cookies. One is for Lemon Snowdrops and the other is for Lemon Sugar Cookies. I'm going to guess it's the lemon sugar cookies you're after. If you give me your email addy, I'll email your both recipes.
