What's your favorite freze-dried food?

Has anyone used Mountain House brand freeze dried foods in the #10 cans?

Have you actually eaten any their freeze dried foods and which one is your favorite?

Yes.I have it in cans and eaten it from the pouches.

Their entrees are very good but salty! If we have to use the #10 cans I will be stretching it with dehydrated veggies to cut the salt and extend the product.

I think they make a fine product.

As for dehydrated foods I make my own.They turn out very well in most cases.

the lasagna also.

In fact, we found that they all tasted about alike. We bought #10 cans of several. We actually decided to use some of the grocery money once to see if we could survive in Mtn House Freeze dried and dehydrated items. We did it for two weeks. Got tired of nothing fresh. They would be better with a salad and rolls.
