I just financed a dog.

I just sold a dog to someone on terms. I wouldn't have done it if i hadn't got 57% down. I guess i'm in the finance business now.

I have english bull dogs. they can be a little steep in price and many breeders will take payments on them. many add 20 percent.

I just figure if you need to make payment on the dog.maybe you do not need a 3500 dollar dog.

That is usually the truth. I have tried financing dogs before. It was a mistake. Anyone who cannot save enough money to buy a dog usually cannot afford to give the care the dog needs. If they use their money on the care of the dog they do not have the cash to make payments. Bad deal all the way around, unless you are just real glad to get rid of the dog.

some of these bone head breeders do not care if the dog is well cared for.

all some of them care about is selling as many as they can.

You could have taken two $1750 cats in on trade for the $3500 dog.

How could a dog that won't even tree a coon be worth all that money?

The way I see it you didn't sell a dog. You are just renting it. How long will you let them string you along until you consider the rent they've paid equals the time they've had it and you take the dog back? You have a market for adult English Bull Dogs with a host of bad habits? You may want to line up just such a market, because once the puppy phase is waining, you'll be getting a dog back. You did make up a contract to cover how you get the rest of your money if the dog gets hit by a truck? If he bites someone, you are still part owner, right?

I did not sell the dog. I also do not sell English Bull dogs. There is not a host of adult english bull dogs with bad habit available. THEY ALL HAVE BAD HABITS. When it comes to dogs. The engishbull dog is in its own class. They are hard work and not for the normal folks.

That is what gets me. Everyone thinks they are cute. They are cute, very nice and freindly. Just they are not like most dogs. I like the high price on them as it keeps them from getting into folks hands that could not afford or even properly care for them.

Heck, its nothing to drop 3-5k a year at the vet on our 3.

There are rescue sites were you can pick them up cheap. Yet, they are very tight to who they adopt to. They will visit your home. Check to see if you are who you say you are. Make recomandations to bull dog proof your home.

I like to see folks adopt a dog over buying a new puppy. Anyone interested in a english try.

The dog was 700 they said they only had 400 and were interested in any than didn't sell at that price and since mine are high end they will sell and they "seemed" like they would take good care of him. So i said pay me in Feb march and April. I guess i'm trying to do them a favor if i get burned (a real possibility) oh well its only money.
