boots for a christmas present

which boots are better to buy as a christmas gift goatskin leather rancher boots or crepe sole cowboy boots

I do not know. I am a steel toe boot guy. I will say boots for x mass say you care to a guy.

I would say it depends on who you're buying them for. Some might prefer the rancher and others might prefer the cowboy.

What is the differance in the two? I do not know. I have foot problems and were one type/make of boot.

Goatskin is quite soft and will certainly shape to fit your foot quite quickly, it is really only suitable for a dress boot. I really do like the crepe soles. They tend to be 'in style' right now and they are super comfortable for walking.

Give him an IOU for a new pair of boots so he can buy what he likes, and most of all he will take his feet along to ensure they fit.

Depends on what the boots are for. If they're for working or heavy-duty play, I say go for something sturdy with a steel toe. Heck, even I have a pair of those, and I wear them hard!

If they're for fancy dress or go-to-meetin', then you'll get the other ones.

Either way, boots are sure a nice gift!
