Another annoying telephone caller

Has anyone been getting any calls from area 203-551-2552. I get one every morning and another one in the evening all week long, they do not leave a message and I will not answer since I do not know the number very annoying,probably telemarketing, about time they give up. do not want to be hooked up to some place where they charge you if you start talking.

"As of 7-10-07 get at least 10 hang up calls a day for past month & not one message left. All caller ID registers is "Unavailable" & "203-551-2552" which is in the Bridgeport, CT area. It belongs to RBS which stands for Royal Bank of Scotland. They own several banking chains including Charter One Banks. We had all of our accounts at Charter One & moved them due to their incompetence. By the way, after all of their hang up calls, today we received a letter asking if we wanted to buy their insurance. This is the only letter we've gotten from them. Avoid Charter One accounts at all costs.

-Automated dialer from RBS Bank(Royal Bank of Scotland)collections department.
-We have had as many as 14 calls per day and it has been going on for weeks. Nobody on line - no message - nothing - just call after call after call. From early morning to eight or nine at night
-I've been getting calls from this number everyday of the week. On my caller ID it shows blocked name and when I answer and say hello for 2 or 3 times I hear when someone hangs up the phone and no0one answers. I hate this because they do it everyday and they start very early in the morning.

Sometimes, once you know who it was that called you, you can go to their website and tell them to get your # of their list. I think they have to do it when you request it.....though I could be wrong about that. Might be worth a try.

We had a rash of hang ups when I answered a number similar to that that had called....yet when DH answered the phone they tried to get him to complete a survey. They only wanted male input so if a female answered they just hung up. And yes....we are on the no call list.

Odd that after reading this yesterday, I got 2 hang up calls today. After the 2nd one I did *69 to get the number (I don't have caller ID) & it was 425-988-6412. What's the point in calling long distance just to hang up?

When I googled it, found out it might be a scam, so don't call it.
