water rates

Well, we found out yesterday that the town that is 8 miles from ours and right now determines alot for us, raised their water rates 85%. That means, that in March of 2008 our water rates are going to go up 85% also. Unless our town can get a water plan with someone else. That means that our bill will go from 80-85 to 160-170.
We have a sand point well that in the spring, summer and fall we can use. If nothing else I can use it for the garden and maybe to wash clothes in. I don't know yet about bathing in it. We need to have it tested and see if it is any good to drink.

You won't bathe in it... You'd drink it?

Why not see if you can get it drilled deeper?
