Patrick Green makes a small cottage commercial model, there is one just listed for sale on Spinning yahoo group for 8500. It was posted in the last few days.

Strauch carders are excellent, we have a Fricke which is the fore runner to the current Strauch machines. Good people to deal with too. We also have a Pat Greene cottage industry carder and picker, great for high capacity but obviously they cost quite a bit. They also make smaller machines. Again, very good people behind these machines.

I picked up a little hand crank unit off e-bay. I admit the PG for $8500 sounds like a deal.
