Steady soaking rain here too..let's dance together shall we?
We haven't had two consceutive, and they are calling for more, days of rain since April/May!!! It feels so good even if the dining room is leaking. My garden will be so pleased, though I am worried that my tomatoes may split..but I don't care!!!

Rain for day number three in MidTN! Cool! A nice steady soaking rain that will not all just run off the hard, dry ground. Hoping for more!

Nice slow soaking rain here. We got 1 1/2 ins since late yesterday and about 1/2 in before that. Keep it coming and maybe the cows will stop giving powered milk. Sam

Here is NW Wisconsin, we are finally drying out, farmers are back in the field. Cows no longer sinking in up to their knees.

1.25 inches out of all the rain that passed to the west of us, toward the northeast. Glad to see rain, but... No change in the drought here. Still extreme. Envious of Kentucky. My farm is not in real bad shape, but I know many who are now officially gone under, or will be going under this winter This spring will be one heck of an absolute auction season. Rolls of hay start at $70 in the field.

It started raining here around 1am - I was asleep but must have heard it because I yelled out "It's raining" and then "oh sorry hon, did I say that outloud" lol

Carried on raining for most of the day and is still drizzling a bit. The other great thing is the temperature finally dropped to below 80.

Nice, seasonable fall weather - 50s during the day, 30s at night. Farmers are busting corn left and right. We did have our fair share of rain in August but plenty of drinking water, no flooding, and no out of control fires. A pretty stable part of the country weatherwise.

raining here! Don't know how much we've gotten though as the rain gauge is down. Will have to find another way to check it. The weather has finally cooled off some too.

They just can't get it right..but this time I don't mind. They said we would have a break from rain while we waited for a secondary front to get here. Was supposed to be clear. While DS to school I could see the line, and I do mean line, of dark grey approaching. It is now almost completely dark here. But, I don't mind.

Cloudy and cool. It's been spitting a little this morning and the high is only supposed to reach 82F today.
