Bandages

I cut myself while skinning the pig the other day, and while waiting for DW to unwrap a bandage I'm thinking; Do they really put a lot of thought into the unwrapping and rapid-readiness of these things? Seemed to take longer than necessary

They seem to put lots more thought into selling them than unwrapping them. Out of sight, out of mind sort of deal.

I've not seen any yet, but I imagine some wacky scientist somewhere will come up with a line of them with velcro or zippers to make them easier to unwrap. My only concern is that when you render them out will the velcroe melt and make your lard taste like plastic or will your cracklins have the little brass tabs in them. Also, if they do come up with an easy to unwrap version will the trend then move on to cows, chickens or goats?

Well, they want it to be sterile so you will not get an infection when you put it on that cut...just grin and bear it ! And be sure to open it where it says to, or you will be having to wait some more.....LOL
