Legume Seed Inoculation

Hello

We are going to plant some purple vetch on some hillside, and am told inoculating the seed with type "C" inoculant is very important.

We have an inoculant we used for bush beans and snap peas - rhizobium leguminosarum vitae phaseoli bradyrhizobium biovar.

Does anyone know if we can use this for the vetch?

Thanks

Rick

The inoculant is specific to the type of legume you are going to put it on. You'll have to get some for vetch in order for it to work. You may want to ask where you bought the seed from and see if they can get some or if the innoculant you have will work.
