Autumn homestead pictures

Since I did most of my growing up years in the northeast, I really miss the brilliant fall colors. It's beautiful here, but definitely more muted than my early fall memories. I'd love to see some other homesteads in the fall from all over the country. So if it's fall where you are...please show us.
Here is my place:

Thank you Lisa for that picture! I lived in North Idaho for a number of years and miss it terribly. I am from the northeast, too, and always thought that autumn in Idaho was muted also. But the land! Just fabulous!

Give me another 17 days and I'll have some for you then. Our leaves have not turned yet, but they will soon.

Have you noticed more RED this year? We have vine maples that skipped the yellow orange stage and are bright flaming red. I am guessing its because we had a little cooler/wetter summer this year.

We're not quite to this point here yet, but here's my old house, last year.

It's for sale, BTW.

DocM, our summer was horribly dry this year but I do see a little more red than usual. I'd love to see pictures of your place.

CJ, that view is taken from right in front of our cabin looking upstream.

RamblinRose, that is beautiful! I love old farmhouses.

Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks, Lisa.

I just realized what your photo reminds me of, a Thomas Kinkade print! It's beautiful.

I doubt we'll have much color this year, darn drought.
