GOt to stay in a yurt last night!

What a fun time we had. We stayed in a 16 ft fully insulated yurt that was heated with a small wood stove (maybe about 2 ft by 3 ft). It got down in the 20's at night and we actually got hot and had to open the dome to let the heat out, LOL. I was pretty happy to find this out because we're planning on living in one while we build our home and we we're worried if they would be warm enough. I wanted to share because I know there's been a couple of you all thinking about them.

Wow, sounds nice! DH and I were thinking about them, but we ended up just buying a conventional home. I'd love to stay the night in one, it sounds like a yurt would be a good writing studio.... (in my dreams!)
