Family farm forum (Joel Salatin)

Not sure this is the right place to post this. If not, I am sorry... feel free to move it. This is just FYI, I don't have anything to do with this personally, except I am probably going to go to it. I picked up the flyer at the Amish sale last weekend.

Joel Salatin will be speaking on Nov. 6 in KY. (Joel Salatin wrote Pastured Poultry Profits and Salad Bar Beef). The event is being put on by KY Graziers Association. A phone number is the only contact info on the brochure. I hesitate to post it, but if you are interested, PM me, and I'll pass it on.

Deadline to register is Oct. 20, and cost is $20.00 with lunch included. It also says there will be an exhibitors room with vendors welcome, so it might be a place to sell stuff for some of ya'll.

Like I said, I am not plugging it, and I am not affiliated with this org or anything... I just thought some of you might be interested.

After learning of Joel Salatin in " The Omnivore's Dilemma", I read everything of his that I can get my hands on. That man is my hero!

Oh, mine, too! I'm currently reading Family Friendly Farming and I feel like I dog-ear every other page. Wish I were closer to KY.
