Vacation land use swap

My wife and I and 2 week old boy live in Oneonta,NY and are looking for someone with some land/simple cabin that we could either tent or stay in for 3 or 4 days next summer. We have to offer a small cabin ( 64 sq. ft with sleeping loft) on 14 acres next to city of oneonta,ny (soccer hall of fame, 30 mins from cooperstown baseball hall of fame ) for the same amount of time? The cabin is complelty private but at this time has no electric or running water. I will post a picture of the cabin when i get a chance to dump my pics off my camera. We would like to camp near a river or creek and maybe within 8 hours trip (3 to 4 ) being optimal away from Oneonta. Any direction would be fine. If anyone is intrested we would love to hear from you ...
e-mail s_kid_d@yahoo.com or reply on this thread.

So basically we crash at your place and you at ours .

Gonna give ya my "valuable" insight as to why you haven't got any responses here. You're probably a heck of a nice person, but the name 'speedfunk' and signature of 'rock on' doesn't appeal to a lot of homestead folk. Well, me anyway But then again I could be all wrong, I usually am.

You folks can pitch a tent at my place but it is farther than 8 hours from NY--outside Nashville, TN. 6 acres, and three kids...two dogs, goats, etc. No trade however as NY is too far for us to travel!
