Inverter size ? (auto)

I got dh a sm refrigerator for his truck. I need to get an inverter but don't know what size I need. The refrigerator is a 1.7 cu/ 115V /60 Hz.

None of that means a thing to me.

Today I saw a 750 watt /15 AMP inverter, will this do the job?

Thanks!

Halo

Look on the refrigerator for the amp or amperage draw or wattage. You do not have enough info to make a determination at this point.

I just found a sticker on the unit that says...

Rated Current - 1.30 A
Power Input - 91.8 W

Does that help?

Inverter

With 1.3 amps rating with 115 volt current you have a draw of 149.5 watts.

The information is contradictory stating 91.8 watts input.

You should be just fine with a 200 watt or larger inverter IF it allows a temporary draw of double that amount. Most anymore are rated for X number of watts continuously and XX for start up draws, etc. A 750 watt unit should be overkill.
