We don't have a blog (that I keep up to date), but we have a lot of pages on our website with what we've done and are doing.
There are a few homesteading blogs on our links page

I just typed in "homesteader's blogs" and "new homesteader's blogs" into Google, and saw several that looked really interesting right at the top. Sorry, but I don't know any specific ones, been looking myself.

This is pretty interesting for anyone who is interested in starting a website for their homestead or farm. Basically it is a 10-week course on web development that is being released for free in one week increments. Should get you a good basis in working with the web and get you going if you would like to:

Well, I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but you can check out my blog called, The Beginning Farmer.
I keep it pretty well updated it it pretty much covers our planned journey from town living to farm living. We don't know when we will make it to the country, but you can read about the steps we are making now. Also, my wife has a blog that you can check out called, The Beginning Farmer's Wife.
Hope this helps.

Well I started our blog not long after we moved from Atlanta to WV. I don't know that it's specifically about beginning homesteading, it's just snapshots of what's going on around the place including triumphs and defeats. The link is in my signature.

Mine has been kind of inactive the past month or so.
DW Pelenaka has done a better job of keeping up with hers though.
Here's a link.

I also enjoy other people's blogs.
Here's mine.

I don't update it as often as I should. Usually too busy homesteading to write about it.
So many times we finish a project and stand back to admire our accomplishments then Dh will say say "We should have taken pictures as it progressed"

A bit OT, but how did you resize the photos to fit in the columns? I tried to do a Blogger account, but even after I made my pics smaller, they still only showed half of them...ugh

I commented one day on Dexter cows on your blog. I enjoy your blog a lot. Each time I read something I think, "He gets it."

It does it automagically for me. When uploading, I always pick "medium" size and "centered" location, maybe that has something to do with it. My originals are usually approximately 900x600 pixels.

Thanks for the kind words! I also have been checking out your blog and website. Your greenhouse looks awesome. I know that my wife would love to have that someday ... oh, someday...

I've seen everyone's blogs but am wondering why people do blogs? I mean, do you get something when someone reads your blogs or do people just do them for PR for their farms or just for informational purposes? I coompletely do not know anything about blogs but find them interesting and wanted to possibly start one myself but don't know a thing about the process!

Well, I do mine to keep family and friends updated on what is going on (they live a ways away), to serve as a help to anyone who stumbles on it, and as sort of journal for me. I think it will be neat to look back when I'm farming full-time (yep, you have to be positive about these things!) and see what I was thinking and planning and researching. Those are some of my reasons. I know others that are running farms use them as ways to communicate with customers. More and more people are wanting a personal connection with their food, and a farm blog provides that opportunity. Finally, I know that myself and others read them for the exchange of information. Like I said, I hope mine can be informative to people beceause I have learned a lot from others blogs.
