Was in sun paper flyer, plans kind of pricy, so anyway, several to chose from:

I like the plans over at CountryPlans.com better than those Katrina Cottages from Lowes, and the prices are lower. But, I guess if you were planning on buying all of your supplies from Lowes the price difference cancels out. I guess I just like the layouts of the Country Plans better.

I agree, and they are priced much more reasonable.
Just a FYI

Has anyone had a look at the Katrina cottage plans?

I have some plans from Countryplans.com and much as I love their site as a whole I think their plans are more a kind of working guide than set of in your face building blueprints.

Not complaining, just pointing out the plans from the one are not comparable to the plans of the other. The difference is what you see reflected in the price.

The plans for the Katrina cottages are about the going rate for plans I think generally speaking.

There's also www.tinyhomes.com. Does anyone here know of them or have experience with their plans?

Hint:

For easy-to-build, good bang for the buck conventional housing, look at the Habitat for Humanity plans. Very little waste, straight-forward stick-built construction.
