Another aquponic question

If a person had a set-up of some fish pools and they used the water to run through some type of a grow bed, using plants to filter the water before disposing back into a water source.(the creek) What all kind of plants/vegetables could be planted that doesn't mind getting their feet so wet?

Use a flood and drain and you can grow about any veggie.

We actually experimented with Aquaponics for a couple of years using the ebb and flow system. We had catfish and planted lettuce, tomatoes, tomatillos, Peppers, radishes. It was actually a lot of fun. Needed the greenhouse to raise our bucket calves and to start our chicks, so we don't have it anymore, but I miss it. If we were to do it again, we would only run it from March through November in our area, due to the high cost of keeping the water heated for the fish.
