Funding Questions

Okay,
So I have read several folks mentioning their different avenues for funding projects, aside from general income. Someone mentioned that they took a seminar on pasturing that got them funding for fencing and I know our state used to have funding for alternative crops, but I have no clue on how to check into any of those things. I would like to see if we qualified for anything that we are planning on doing anyway, just to offset the cost a bit if we can. Maybe it would allow us to get some projects done a bit sooner and all that good stuff....
Anyone have ideas? Anyone have strong feelings one way or the other about going this route?
Thanks!

Call your County Extension office for a start. Check the USDA to see if they have an office in your County.
