You know when summer's over when...

When I get all my animals back from summer camp. The Hassidic Boy's camp in town are gone for the winter and returned all the animals yesterday.
Back hame are the Peacocks(4), Chinese pheasents(6), Geese(5), Ducks(9), Roosters(4), hens(5), Bantams(8), assorted chicks(25), LLamas(2), Donkey(1), and Turkeys(3).
It sure is nice to be full again. I love seeing all the ducks and geese roaming in the yard. The 25 chicks are always welcome.

Your animals go to summer camp? For some reason, this struck my funny bone. I imagine you writing letters to cure their homesickness....

Hello, Chicken
Hello, Llama
How is camp, Hiawatha....

Oh, how funny! Two of my chickens went to Bible school this year, but I had to sit there with them the whole time.

Yes people always get a kick out of it. It works out well, they take very good care of them all summer, even pay for rabies shots. I also got back 15 bags of feed and 4 bales of hay plus $200 rental fee.
