Come see us at the MN State Fair!

Once again, I'll be at the Minnesota State Fair with a few of my Toggenburg dairy goats. We'll be in the Sheep barn from Friday, Aug 31 to Monday, Sept 3.
Stop by and say hi between the 900 lb pumpkin and the sloppy-joe-on-a-bun-on-a-stick

We will be there the third. We'll drop in. Do you have a banner with your farm name?

Yep, we have a small green and white banner with "Knotneer Toggenburgs" on it.

Tinknal, since you're a dairy man, I have to brag on the quality of the dairy goats at the MN Fair. This year, there will be a National Jr Champion, a Res. National Jr Champion, several Reserve National Champions, and many National class winners exhibited. The depth of quality is outstanding. Last year, the National 1st place Jr Yearling was placed 8th at MN.

And that's why I'm not gettin' any blues.

The tack trunk is packed, the suitcase is packed, and soon the truck will be packed.
I'm getting nervous about driving in the Cities. I lived there for a total of 8 years but I've lost all my urban driving skills. I'll probably be going white-knuckled down 35W at 45 mph in a rusty dusty truck full of goats.

You've followed me around the fair haven't you?

Just one change in the order. Last thing of the day is a bucket of Sweet Martha's and a visit to the all you can drink milk booth.

Good luck! We've never gotten to show goats at the MN State Fair since that is one of the weekend we must be at home but I'll be thinking of you all. I fact, I haven't been to the State Fair in years, guess I'm missing out on the "you name it" on a stick and fried cheese curds. Have fun.

I met Anna at the fair. She is a sweetheart, and has some gorgeous goats. I also discovered the meaning of her farm name ( I'm not telling )
