fire place

ok ive called everyone i can think of. we have a modular house that need a new fire place.we live just outside of flint MI. anyone know of someone who can give me an estimate?

I'm way too far South to help on a dealer recommendation, but you might want to look at a wood stove set up instead. You'll get a lot more heat, and with a glass door, you get a nice view of the fire too. Best wishes in whatever you choose to do.

Be aware that your insurance may be rewritten if you install a wood stove in a modular. There are also wood stoves made especially for modulars. I think it has something to do with the venting.

Maybe you're not getting bids cause it's a modular & installers don't want the lilability??

the house that we bought already had one.the prior owners didnt open the flue and it caught fire.just trying to get it replaced.
