A quart per acre does a real nice job. Your litre would cover about 2 acres or so. I hear of people using as little as 16 oz, up to a 3 quarts per acre, so it isn't real fussy....
Some mixes come with a surfacant built in, some do not. Basically soap - crop oil. Doesn't hurt to add if you don't know.....
Glysophate is less effective in hard water. To take care of that, use distilled water, or add AMS to the water, about 2-3# per 10 gallons of water. AMS is a special nitrogen fertilizer......
