RV refrigerator recall

This may have already been discussed or everyone may already be aware, but thought I would post anyway.

Dometic is recalling quite a few of it's RV refrigerators. It seems there is something that could be a fire hazard. They are repairing, or replacing the part now.

You can find which model and years that are being recalled on the internet.

I hope that works, but it is the site.

If yours is on the list, it is best to call and 'get in line'. We have been in line for quite a while and they haven't called yet.

Thanks For the Info!! Mine is one of the affected ones. I put a call into a local repair center that I got off your Link, but they are closed for today.

Ours is safe, thanks for the info Trixie.

Last year, I opened the door and it literally broke right off the hinges! We used duct tape to hold it in place, and Dometic overnighted us a new door free of charge, they were great.
