Herbacide question

I bought some Surrender Brand Eraser weed and grass killer. It says that if it rains "too Soon" after spraying, a respray may be needed. My question is how long is "Too Soon"? I have tried to find answers on the web, but Zilch. Would there be any spray that would require longer than 24 hrs before rain?

Label

Most labels will state the "too soon" time frame.

Many herbicides are just fine after about 1½ hours of drying on the plant time, others 3-4.

Yes, I know most will actually give a time frame. This ERASER doesn't. I have used it before. It works as good or better than round-up and is half the price.
Last time I used it. We were praying for rain and I would have gladly resprayed.

This spring I am dodging rain storms to get anything done. I am wanting to kill waist high weeds and grass so I can get some kind of garden in. I have seedlings in a tray that have their third set of real leaves. No way I could till a garden without pontoons. So if I can get the weeds killed, I will at least be able to get these in the ground, even if I can only use a trowel or shovel and spot them in, then maybe till between when things dry out enough.

I'm not familiar with that particular herbicide, but I think any contact herbicide only needs a few hours to be adsorbed into the plant and do its job.

If the moisture on the plant from spraying is gone it should be fine. To soon varies due to the moisture content of the plants.
