How to get electric fence posts plumb

This seems like a no brainier but.....
I've been setting fiberglass fence posts and the defy being put in plumb. I have a level that I can strap on but as soon as the post hits a stone it cants and because it's so flexible, I can't straighten it.

It sounds a little anal but I want to put some in a section that will be seen and I'd like them to look presentable.

Any ideas.

packing the dirt with a shovel handle on one side of the post will push the post in the other direction

...............you need three things , to properly "plumb" posts , two levels and a stringline tied tightly about 2 feet off the ground so that you put the base in the hole and then bring it forward up TOO the string line . Put one level at 12 o' clock and another at 3 o'clock vertically against the post . When , you get Both levels plumb , and the post is just ...touching the string your post should be in line with all others . The post shouldn't "push" the string , just touch. That's the reason the string should be VERY tight , and I like to tie the string line too every 4th. post or so so it can't be pushed by movement while your plumbing a new post . , fordy...

Be a little flexible in your spacing. If your post hits a rock, move it 6" or a foot one way or another.
