Wink Some of the wildlife is doing just fine

Found on a farm near Springfield, Missouri. Watch where you step when you do your chores. 9 feet, 1 inch. 97 pounds.

I have killed a lot of rattlesnakes. I've never even heard of one THAT BIG! Although I have heard that there are HUGE rattlesnakes in Texas. (But, EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas.....so the Texans would have us believe....)

That is QUITE a rattler!

However, they do get that big, at least they do in southwest Texas.... I've never personally seen one, though, and hope I never do!

All I can say is that man is a lot stronger than he looks. He has no problems holding 97 pounds out on the end of a stick.

Back in the mid 80's there was an Eastern Diamondback found dead after a forest fire in Carteret County, NC. It was 11 1/2 ft long and weighed 135 lbs. I saw a picture of it back then but dont have one to post
