Weatherman was wrong!

We haven't had any measurable rain for a week, and the radio weatherman had been saying no rain in sight until at least Sunday night. So last evening I turned on the garden hose to water the garden. The garden needed it.

Well, I forgot about the water hose and left it running all night. Didn't turn it off this morning about 7:00 am. And guess what, it is raining!

How many people rely upon the radio weatherman to provide accurate weather? Have you ever watered your garden ALL NIGHT only to discover it is raining the next morning?

We don't rely on the weather people at all. Our garden would've long been dead if we did. When the soil is dry we water it. So many times they have promised rain for the night and we thought about skipping the watering. Good thing we didn't skip it. And they think they know all about global warming???? They can't even predict next day's weather.

I call them weather guessers. Its the only job I know of, that you can use millions of dollars of hi tech equiptment, be wrong at least 1/2 the time and its acceptable. All they have to do is make up some excuse about this or that, and they cover themselves, then guess at the weather again. Gotta love it.
