I'm being bugged!!

Has anyone else had problems with bugs in the house this year. I very seldom have any up to this year. occasional fly or miller. But this year it seems like Im the meeting house for every bug in the forest. I still have lady bugs coming in, fireflys. something new every day. All the windows are shut for the air and they are not coming in any one room primarily. They don't last long cause I spray copious amounts of CO2, environmentally unfriendly bug killer along base boards and doors.

plant a 2 ft wide boarder of pennyroyal around the house that will help deter a number of bugs.
Boric acid dusted along cracks and the base boards will do as much to kill bugs as most sprays and last a lot longer. you can also mix Boric acid with syrup to take care of ants that like sweet stuff .
Our chicken bug feeder cuts down on the number of night bugs.
its a 15 watt bulb suspended a few inches about a shallow pan of water with a single drop of dish soap. It fills up with bugs every night and every morning the chicken eat them up.

Incredible amounts of bugs this year. We don't use A/C so the windows and doors are always open with screens. They all do seem to find their way in. No bug spray here as I'm not as afraid of the bugs as I am of the spray.

No problems with anything but flies...but they're about to carry us off!
