Has anyone ever installed cork flooring?

I am putting cork flooring into a room in my house, I'm just curious whether I start in the center of the room or along a wall? I know I have to leave about 1/4 inch gap between the wall and the cork or expansion/contraction, which will be hidden when I put in the baseboards. Hope you can help, thanks Chris

I would assume that you start in the middle, since that's the way tile and linoleum is laid, but I have no firsthand experience.

Is this floating, click-lock flooring or glue down tiles?

It's floating and click-lock tiles and it's going over a plywood subfloor. Chris

We installed that type of floor in our kitchen and family room. You start at one side, placing spacers to make the gap. after the floor is finished you remove the spacers.

There should be instructions with your flooring.
