New Opinion of Acres USA magazine

When I first received the back issues Acres USA sent my boys, I put on a post that said it was best for those of you who only have large animals or larger gardens. We have been reading the issues and I have changed my mind! It is a good magazine with lots of good information. Some of it is over my head and there is a lot in there for those who have animals but having read more of it now, I see there is a lot to be learned by those of us who have smaller operations too. Just wanted to clear that up in case someone could benefit from taking a look at the magazine.

While there are some very good articles, I also think some of them are selling snake oil, something easy to do in something as complex as soil science. Just my $.02

The soil science information is "over my head" and.......OK......boring. I know it is important but it was way too dry for me. But we found information on the organic weed controls, flowers as food, farm tax infor, marketing small farms, and more. So - was worth a look.
