Tomorrow is the first farmers market!

DH and I have been working (mostly DW LOL) for weeks to get stuff ready for the first farmers market which is tomorrow in good old Butte Montana America. I did it a few times last year but am such a wuss when it comes to touting my wares that I was stressing myself to death just trying to not be shy LOL. This year DH who is newly retired from his part time job will be going with me every week and he is a very social guy so I can just hide in the back ground! We have made several nakedpines coat trees, a zillion riverstone knobs, a zillion natural stone pendants and necklaces, 2 zillion semi-precious stone frige magnets etc etc. It was fun to do but I hope the current supply lasts a while to give my old hands a break! We also have the display ready to deliver to the world museum of mining gift shop and are just waiting for the consignment contract to arrive. So we will take that display to the market as well.

Anyone else working farmers market type things this year? sis

Nothing we'll be doing just because there are no farmer's markets and we have nothing to sell - but it sounds like so much fun.

Good luck - let us know how it turns out.

Ours started last week. We took my wife's wool crafts (felted things mostly) and lamb as usual, but we added rhubarb (who have thought you could sell the wretched stuff?) and Lilac cuttings. The garden is up to acres in size so there'll be lots of veggies to be sold this year!

We can't grow Rhubarb in the south! DH loves it in a strawberry/rhubarb pie. We have a farmer's market here.....

Callieslamb= the lady in the space next to mine was selling strawberry rubarb pies! She must have had 50 0r s0 and sold out- so she did great. We did well also, which in my mind means we will only make very little money next week- it is hard to be optomistic about things so stress full LOL
