a thread for lifes irritations.

Ok, I sit on the john and do my business.

Uh oh, I'm out of TP.

Strrrrretch my arm around to reach under the cabinet and snag a roll of paper, put it on the TP dispenser.

Oops, backward, re-load.

Well, business done, better put a reserve roll on the back of the toilet to keep that from happening again.

put the reserve roll on the back of the toilet.

Oops! Slipped!

PLOOSH!

Whole roll of TP winds up in the bowl. Which of course hasn't been flushed yet.

Ugh!

Fish it out with the bowl brush and trash can, wipe up the mess.

Flush the toilet. The water keeps running. Open the back of the bowl--the chain broke and is stuck under the clapper. Reach down, pull the chain up, now at least the water won't keep running but the handle won't work till I fix the chain. And there's now a missing link that went down the clapper.

Its a good thing I'm not having to do anything *important* requiring manual dexterity at the moment!

RachAnn, if that's the worst thing to happen to me today then I think it was a pretty good day.

Whataya gonna do when stuff like that happens but get an uncontrollable case of the giggles?

A paper clip will fix that chain.

When you think nothing else bad can happen today, it does many times. And we think tomorrow has got to be better than today{BAD NEWS} It dont, could be much worse. So, when you wake up in the morning and you think its going to be, one of those "gettin up on the wrong side of the bed kind of days", roll over and go back to sleep because you can do absolutely nothing about it.LOL
