Will this work?

After a devastating Easter week hard freeze we are usually safe after Mother's Day but frost is expected tonight. There are just too many things to cover so I was wondering if I put a coating of flour over everything tender would that put a barrier between the leaves and the frost? What do you all think?

I doubt it. If the area is small enough to cover with a sprinkler, the water will work. You could also make smudge pots or just cover them with some type of fabric.

Can you turn on the sprinkler (water hose, with sprinkler), what I read is that is one of the ways to keep citrus crops from freezing now,
