Need a belt for bolens

I put this on shop talk. I need a belt for an old Bolens walk behind mower and no one can tell me the part number for that due to it being so old, The model # is 8362, any help is greatfull.

Take a thick piece of twine and put it as the belt would go, mark it, then measure the length. Now, measure the inside width of your pulleys. Write these numbers down, go to auto parts store and buy a belt for these dimentions. (If it is a long drive, buy one a little shorter and one a little longer (very little)---- (the parts store SHOULD let you return the ones you don't use.)

This will work for you and is the quickest easiest way to get your belt.

take the old one to any auto parts place or even what is left. Some times the part number is on the outside of it. If not then do as Junkmanme said. You can buy belts from bolens but they will be more expensive. Belts are made from two or three places in the world and their is not much diference in them.
