Snow flurries happening now

Amazing! On May 5th! In Arizona. Garden - what garden? Suppose to freeze again tonight.

My neighbours grandparents homesteaded this area & they say this is sooo unusual.

Wow, I am so sorry! I was surprised when I saw AZ!!! I figured you were WAYYYY up north! If you do have any plants out, better give them a blanket!
I wouldnt want freezing temps this time of year... But, here it is 82 and about 75% humidity. yuck.
We had rain all last week, and expecting more next week. At least it isnt freezing.

Gawd, how I miss that place... Wolf mom, never mind a bit of snow and frost, just enjoy the air and water there, and the trees and the elk and the antelope... *SIGH*.

I dont know about global warming but i do know the white mountains in arizona are pretty high in elevation. I used to ski up there at the end of april wearing shorts! Here in the frozen north we are still waiting for the foot of snow that fell three days ago to melt so we can start spring clean up....then i read about southerns whose gardens are already producing and i just want to sigh!

Hi Vera!
I know, I do count my blessings. although after having 17 elk in my yard the first year I moved here, they're not that welcome. I've got peppers about an inch long in my kitchen waiting to be planted along with other starts that I thought would be outside a few weeks ago.

Sisterpine, Hi! Yes, although skiing is about an hour's ride from me. I'm on the low end of Show Low. Last year the garden was mostly in in the middle of April.

I too, want my garden planted. Oh well, just painted the living room instead.
