Lime prices?

What does Lime cost near you? What is its spread cost?

Last time I got some it was about $40 a ton including spreading.

$18 ton, spread. It's easy to come by nearby. We got lots of limestone.

Many municipalities in Minnesota use calcium oxide to treat drinking water. The process produces a high lime by-product which is delivered to and spread for free. In addition, several wood products companies provide wood ash for free, as well as, lime and cement kilns provide lime dust for free. About one-half of the "lime" applied to Minnesota soil is in the form of free by-products.

LOL I guess my prices are higher since Im near the coast. Its several hundred miles to ANY type of stone, much less limestone. The price has been about the same for the last 5 years, but then I havent bought any this year

Limes are 10 for a dollar at Sunrise Market and a dollar a piece at Safeway.
