Look under chemicals in the yellow pages if you can't find it in stores.

i get mine from boyer... i get 24 lb. at a time and i just reorder when i get down to a couple of cans...
The first time I used them I had to mail a check as they did not do electronic purchasing, and that took longer bc you have to wait for the check to clear ect. ect.
Now they have electrical payment, but you still have to call and speak to someone as they will figure the shipping then.

Boyer's for me too, 40# at a time.

How much are you needing? If it is 10# or less, I can help you out

If you can't find it locally, you can order it from The Chemisty Store.com
http://chemistrystore.com/ . They also sell a lot of other products for making soap, cosmetics, lotions ect.

Where are you located? I sell it for .85 per pound...but it's pick up only.

I bought mine at Lowes but EBAY has a lot of listings. Usually the shipping kills you. It will say 100% sodium hydroxide it will not say lye (at Lowes) but it is the same thing.

Another source of lye is the biodiesel sites. Utah Biodiesel has some for $60/50lb bag with $45 shipping.
