Where is a good site on the WEB to look for house plans, particularly for the owner builder?

A site especially for owner/builders/do it yourselfers. Even has a forum that the designer frequesnts and answers questions.

My favorite sites for plans for owner-builders are www.townandcountryplans.com and www.countryplans.com. For easy-to-build kits try www.shelterkit.com and www.wildernesscabin.com. My friend Charles Kirkland has some do-it-yourself cottage and cabin plans at www.storageshed-plans.com.

There are some good schemes for owner built houses on the "Construction types" link from the page above (like dry stack block).

Wow! Thank you Gary. www.BuildItSolar.com is a fantastic resource.

I designed and built an earth sheltered, passive solar house in Vermont in 1983. It has served our family well. I wish that BuildItSolar.com was available then. It would have made things easier.
